Requery is an AI-native, local-first data workspace that provides:

3. Account Registration

3.1 Account Creation

• You must provide accurate, complete, and current information

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials

• You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service

• One person or legal entity may maintain no more than one free account

3.2 Account Security

• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

• We are not liable for any loss due to unauthorized account access

4. Acceptable Use

4.1 You agree NOT to:

• Violate any laws or regulations

• Infringe on intellectual property rights

• Transmit malicious code or interfere with the Service

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems

• Use the Service to mine cryptocurrency

• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

4.2 Database Access

• You must have proper authorization to access any databases you connect to Requery

• You are responsible for complying with all applicable database licenses and terms

• We are not responsible for your database connections or the data you access

5. Subscriptions and Payment

5.1 Subscription Plans

• Free Plan: Limited features as described on our pricing page

• Pro Plan: $14/user/month

• Team Plan: $21/user/month

• Enterprise Plan: Custom pricing

5.2 Billing

• Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis

• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law

• Price changes will be notified 30 days in advance

• You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis

5.3 Free Trial

• Free trials may be offered at our discretion

• Credit card information may be required

• You must cancel before the trial ends to avoid charges

6. Intellectual Property

• The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Requery, Inc.

• The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws

• You retain ownership of any queries, scripts, or content you create

• You grant us a limited license to use your content solely to provide the Service

• Shared workspace content may be accessible to authorized team members

6.3 Feedback

• Any feedback you provide may be used by us without compensation

• You waive any rights to feedback you submit

7. AI Services

7.1 Third-Party AI

• Natural language processing uses third-party AI services (OpenAI, Anthropic)

• AI-generated queries are provided "as-is" without warranty

• You are responsible for reviewing and validating all AI-generated content

7.2 Usage Limits

• AI features may be subject to rate limits

• Excessive use may result in temporary restrictions

• Additional AI usage may incur extra charges

8. Privacy and Data

8.1 Data Processing

• Your use of our Service is subject to our Privacy Policy

• You consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy

8.2 Data Location

• Data is stored locally by default

• Cloud synchronization is optional and requires explicit consent

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Requery, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service

• Your violation of these Terms

• Your violation of any third-party rights

11. Termination

11.1 By You

• You may terminate your account at any time

• Termination does not entitle you to refunds

11.2 By Us

• We may terminate or suspend your account for Terms violations

• We may terminate service with 30 days notice for any reason

11.3 Effect of Termination

• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases

• Local data remains on your device

• Cloud data may be deleted after 30 days

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes:

• We will notify you via email or in-app notification

• Changes take effect 30 days after notification

• Continued use constitutes acceptance of new Terms

14. Miscellaneous

14.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Requery regarding the Service.

14.2 Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.

14.3 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right.

14.4 Assignment

You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign our rights to any successor.
